Getting people together from different locations for a conference call doesn't have to be a painstaking process. You can use a conference call bridge to allow several individuals across multiple conference sites to share information and video in real time. |

Call logging equipment eliminates "he said, she said" finger pointing. It can also be a great way to train salespeople as conversations can be recorded for later analysis. |

What is the procedure to setup a conference call?
Your reservationless conference call is automatically created when you complete the SaveOnConferences sign up form. Once activated, you can start to schedule your next conference call immediately by giving out the date and time of your conference call along with the dial-in numbers and participant pass code. To begin, call the dial-in number and then enter your moderator pass code followed by the # sign on your telephone keypad. It's that easy.

How are the SaveOnConferences services priced?
All users pay a set price to use the conference call service which appears on their normal telephone bill.

In order for conference participants to reach our service, each one must call a telephone number. For Reservationless Standard and Web-Scheduled Standard conferences this number may be local or long distance, depending on their location. The only costs for these type of conference calls are whatever long distance rates are charged by each individual conference participant's long distance carrier (Sprint, MCI, AT&T, etc.). We do not require the use of any specific carrier, nor do we know what rates you pay on your calling plan. |

How does this work? Can anyone walk me through this?
We have created a QuickStart Guide to acquaint you with our conference call services, and to help you decide which service best suits your needs. Can I choose my own dial-in number? What's the difference between "Web-scheduled" and "Reservationless" conferences?

If you use our Quick Scheduler feature, (see What is Quick Scheduler?) you can easily schedule multiple conferences in quick succession, up to 11 months in advance. In addition, if you use our RSVP email invitation tool, you can organize your contacts into groups and with one click, copy your group into the e-mail invitation for your conference. Scheduling each conference should take less than one minute. |
|
|
How does it work? Is this an "internet call"?
This is not an internet call. You dial using an ordinary telephone into our conference server at a pre-arranged time. The other participants in your conference will also dial the same telephone number and meet you there.
|
|
|
Are the conference calls private and secure?
Yes. There are several different privacy features. Each call has a unique Participant Access Code for entry. Participant Access Codes are uniquely assigned for all services with the option to choose your own for our Web-Scheduled services. Also, there is a short tone heard on the conference call whenever anyone exits or enters the conference. Additionally, the conference organizer can press the pound,or "#" touch-tone to hear how many other parties are on the call. In addition, the conference organizer may lock the conference by pressing "5" on the touchtone keypad to prevent additional persons from entering the conference.
